On 23 April 2018, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk held Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), for financial year of 2017 in Wisma Barito Pacific, Jakarta. The meeting resulted shareholders' approvals and ratifications for 2017 Annual Report and Annual Financial Report. In addition to that, the shareholders also approved the use of 30% from 2017's Nett Profit for cash dividend with total amount of US$95,600,000. This number will be taking into account with interim dividend, which previously has been paid to shareholders in 8 November 2017, amounted US$43,478,122. Thus, the remaining amount of cash dividend to be paid is US$52,121,878 or equal with US$0.00292 per share, which will be paid to shareholders in the upcoming 4 May 2018.

PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk participated in Indonesia Industrial Summit 2018, an exhibition and discussion forum discussing the implementation of industrial revolution 4.0. In the event held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on 4-5 April 2018, CAP demonstrated the readiness to confront the Industrial Revolution 4.0 by adopting digitalization technology to optimize production processes and supply chain based information systems. CAP developed an "Smart Plant" app that enables production monitors and trend production analysis to be as easy as checking messages on smartphones. This system has been implemented in the CAP petrochemical complex located in Cilegon, Banten, and will also be implement later on the second petrochemical complex currently being planned for development.
PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk received Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Excellence Award for TPM Award 2017, which awarding ceremony took place at Kyoto, 20-22 March 2018. After passing the assessment stage of Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM), the company’s Polymer plant is entitled to TPM Excellence Award, Category A. This award was handed over by Akira Ichikawa Sensei and Yokoo Sensei as assessors from JIPM to Mr. Kulachet Darachandra – VP Operation, Mr. Bodiejono – TPM Chairman, and representatives from Pillar Leader Polymer, Monomer, SMI and TPM Office. Last year, the same award also attained by CAP’s subsidiary, PT Styrindo Mono Indonesia (SMI). SMI also became the first petrochemical company in Indonesia who receive TPM Excellence Award.

On 5 March 2018, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk donated two hectares of land to build Polytechnic of petrochemical industry in Banten. The assistance was symbolically handed over by Mr. Suhat Miyarso, VP Corporate Relations of the Company to the Industry Ministry Education and Training Center Head, Mr. Mujiyono, at the launch of the Vocational Education Industry. The Company fully supports the vocational education program, the follow-up to Presidential Instruction No. 9 Year 2016 concerning the revitalization of vocational. The Company expects the presence of this Polytechnic of petrochemical industry will be able to counter the fulfillment of competent workforce that is needed in Cilegon as petrochemical industrial cluster.
